Zodiac signs and their meanings.-
Typical Thai astrology considers the earth to be the center which the other planets orbit around.
The sky can be divided into twelve parts. Each part, is called “a zodiac sign” which sums up to twelve zodiac signs in total.
(All zodiac signs can together be called as “the zodiac constellations”)
All twelve zodiac signs within the zodiac constellations when written down on a natal chart will have fixed positions.
Each position is given a name and a constellation symbol.
Aries zodiac sign – uses 0 as the number (in other words zodiac 0).
The Goat is its constellation symbol. Counting towards the left (counter-clockwise), it starts from the Aries onto the twelfth zodiac sign Pisces.
Taurus zodiac sign – uses 1 as the representative number. The Bull is its constellation symbol.
Gemini zodiac sign – uses 2 as the representative number. The Twins is its constellation symbol.
Cancer zodiac sign -uses 3 as the representative number. The Crab is its constellation symbol.
Leo zodiac sign- uses 4 as the representative number. The Lion is its constellation symbol.
Virgo zodiac sign- uses 5 as the representative number. The Maiden is its constellation symbol.
Libra zodiac sign- uses 6 as the representative number. The Balance Scales is its constellation symbol.
Scorpio zodiac sign -uses 7 as the representative number. The Scorpion is its constellation symbol.
Sagittarius zodiac sign-uses 8 as the representative number. The Centaur Archer is its constellation symbol.
Capricorn zodiac sign- uses 9 as the representative number. The Dragon is its constellation symbol.
Aquarius zodiac sign-uses 10 as the representative number. The Water-Bearer is its constellation symbol.
Pisces zodiac sign-uses 11 as the representative number. The Fish is its constellation symbol.
The zodiac sign and its position should be memorized for predicting.
On the contrary the meaning of both zodiac-sign and constellation symbol is not very important.
(The ruling planet and the ruling house is much more important. It will be used as a core concept in predicting which will be mentioned later on)
** Starting from Taurus which has number 1 and count counterclockwise onto Aries which has number 12 (or 0).
